Bill Hader embraces absurdity and breaks Barry wide open

 

I suppose that “ronny/lily” will be divisive for critics and audiences alike. It’s enough of a departure, formally and tonally, for it to trip up people expecting a more conventional development following last week’s reveal.

Bill Hader wins Critics’ choice award for ‘Barry’

Tulsa native Bill Hader won the Critics Choice Award for best actor in a TV comedy at Sunday night’s awards ceremony for his HBO series “Barry” from the Broadcast Television Journalists Association.
